Mumbai: Mouni Roy expresses her gratitude after visiting the Adiyogi statue in Tamil Nadu. The actress shared several photos on Instagram featuring herself beside the impressive 34-meter tall, 45-meter long, and 25-meter wide steel bust of Lord Shiva, located in Coimbatore. Known for her role as Sati in the mythological series Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev, Mouni is seen praying in the images, with one photo showing her gazing at the statue from behind.
Dressed in a navy blue traditional outfit with a tie-dye dupatta, she completed her look with smoky eye makeup, a small bindi, and nude lipstick, leaving her hair down. In her caption, she wrote, “Shivoham Shiv Swaroopam, Grateful thankful blessed.”
The Adiyogi statue, recognized by Guinness World Records as the “Largest Bust Sculpture” globally, represents Shiva as the first yogi and was designed by Sadhguru, founder of the Isha Foundation. The statue weighs approximately 500 tonnes.
