Industry and Public response

While neither Neeru Bajwa nor Hania Aamir has made an official statement, many on social media have praised Neeru’s move as a “bold and respectful stand.” Posts on Reddit and X (formerly Twitter) show fans expressing admiration for her decision to step back from the project.

⇒ “Finally, someone is listening to public sentiment,” another commented.

Directed by Amar Hundal and starring Diljit Dosanjh, Hania Aamir, and Neeru Bajwa, Sardaar Ji 3 was slated for global release on June 27, 2025. However, the film will not release in India due to opposition from film associations and public protests.

Reports also suggest that Sardaar Ji 3’s producer has declared a 40% financial loss, citing the controversy and cancellation of its Indian release.
