Mumbai: Prime Video, India’s most loved entertainment destination, has launched the trailer of its much-awaited original series “Call Me Bae” full of laughter and emotions. The eight-part series is a light-hearted, charming comedy drama based on the life of Bela Choudhary, aka Bae, and her journey from being an airess to a hustler.
“Call Me Bae” marks the streaming debut of Ananya Panday as Bae. The series also stars Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskaan Jaffrey, Niharica Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra and Mini Mathur in pivotal roles. This Dharmatic Entertainment production includes Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Somen Mishra as executive producers.
The series is directed by Colin D’Cunha and created by Ishita Moitra, who has also written the series along with Samina Motlekar and Rohit Nair. “Call Me Bae” will premiere in Hindi, and with dubs in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, exclusively on Prime Video on September 6 in India and more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
