Washington: Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas recently enjoyed a special family outing, marking their “first trip to the theatre” to see Nick’s Broadway debut in ‘The Last Five Years.’ The couple, accompanied by their daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, visited the Hudson Theatre to support Nick’s upcoming performance.
Nick shared a heartfelt update on Instagram, posting photos from the memorable day. One photo features Nick and Priyanka in front of the iconic Hudson Theatre, with Priyanka smiling and pointing at the building. She wore a grey jacket and cap for a casual look, while Nick donned a colorful sweater. Another photo captures little Malti pointing at a poster of Nick on the theatre wall. Nick’s caption read, “Three week countdown until @thelastfiveyears opens! So special having the fam with me for our first trip to the theatre today @priyankachopra @thelastfiveyears.”
In addition to the photos, Nick shared a brief video on his Instagram Stories from inside the theatre, expressing his excitement about attending the performance for the first time. “Come to see it for the first time. So excited,” he said in the clip.
Nick Jonas is set to make his Broadway debut in ‘The Last Five Years,’ a musical by Jason Robert Brown, which will officially open on March 18, 2025. He stars alongside Adrienne Warren in this significant milestone as he transitions from music to theatre. Besides his Broadway role, Nick is also featured in ‘The Good Half,’ a film directed by Robert Schwartzman, which premiered in theaters last year and became available for streaming on Hulu in November. He continues to focus on his music career with a busy schedule of concert tours and performances.
Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra has several exciting projects lined up, including ‘Heads of State’ with Idris Elba and John Cena, and a role as a 19th-century Caribbean pirate in ‘The Bluff.’ Fans can also look forward to seeing her in the anticipated web series ‘Citadel 2.’
