Mumbai: Ahead of the highly anticipated release of the Ram Charan-Kiara Advani starrer Game Changer, a press meet was held recently in Mumbai. While Ram Charan attended alongside SJ Suryah, Dil Raju, and Anil Thadani, Kiara Advani was absent due to health concerns following a hectic work schedule.

During the event, Ram Charan candidly shared that he felt both lonely and warmly welcomed in Mumbai. Addressing the four-year gap since his last solo release, he remarked, “For the first time, I’m feeling very alone right now, but also, I’m feeling so much welcome. Thanks to all of you here.” On why there was such a long gap, he added, “Maalum nahi yaar, mereko bhi jaldi se jaldi karna hai movies. Maalum nahi itna der kyu hota hai (I don’t know, I also want to do films as soon as possible. I don’t know why it takes so long).”

Ram Charan also spoke about working with Game Changer director Shankar, calling it a “dream come true.” He praised Shankar as the epitome of commercial and larger-than-life cinema, crediting him as the pioneer of pan-Indian filmmaking.

The film, helmed by Shankar and featuring music by Thaman, stars Ram Charan in the lead alongside Kiara Advani. It boasts a stellar cast, including SJ Suryah, Anjali, Samuthirakani, and others. Game Changer is based on a story by Karthik Subbaraj and is scheduled for a grand release on 10 January 2025.
