Mumbai, July 17: There was a discussion about the TV show ‘Anupama’ that actor Ronit Roy can now play the character of Vanraj Shah in the show. After which Ronit has now broken his silence regarding the speculations.
While talking to Tele Chakkar, Ronit Roy said –
“I am not doing Anupama. This news is completely false. I am not playing the character of Vanraj.”
A source also told Mid-Day –
“There is no new planning regarding Vanraj in the show. The talks that are going on are just rumours. There is no truth in it. Ronit Roy has also clarified on many media platforms that he is not doing this show.”
Let us tell you that the character of Vanraj in the serial was played by actor Sudhanshu Pandey. However, he left the show midway in 2024. Sudhanshu played the character of Vanraj for about four years. Since his departure, this character has disappeared from the screen.
Anupama started on 13 July 2020. It is produced by Rajan Shahi and Deepa Shahi under the banner of Directors Cut Productions. The show stars Rupali Ganguly in the lead role.
In recent times, the TRP of this show has seen a decline. Due to this, the makers are planning to bring new stories and characters. Many actors have left the show. These include names like Gaurav Khanna, Nidhi Shah and Kunwar Amar Singh.
