Mumbai: Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are set to marry on December 4. For her wedding, Sobhita has chosen a stunning Kanjivaram silk saree decorated with real gold zari.
The actress personally selected the saree during a shopping trip with her mother. In addition, she is acquiring a simple white khadi saree woven in Ponduru, along with a matching outfit for Naga, honoring tradition. A source close to Sobhita shared with IANS that she is deeply involved in the wedding preparations, reflecting her emotional connection to her Telugu roots. This dedication was evident during their engagement ceremony, which showcased their cultural heritage beautifully. During that occasion, Sobhita wore traditional attire and complemented it with an orange gajra.
The couple’s wedding will be an intimate affair, celebrating their culture with close friends and family. Their wedding invitation has gone viral, featuring the names of family members and the ceremony date. It seems they have also included a gift basket for guests, containing cloth, a wooden scroll, food items, and sweets. The invitation’s design is adorned with images of temples, bells, banana trees, and a cow, emphasizing their cultural significance.
Naga and Sobhita’s pre-wedding festivities began in October, with Sobhita sharing insights from a traditional ceremony held at her home.
