Mumbai: Today is the fourth death anniversary of Sushant Singh Rajput. Four years ago, on 14 June 2020, at the age of 34, he said goodbye to the world. But, his death still remains a mystery. Some said that he was murdered, while some said that he was in depression for a long time and in such a situation he committed suicide.
Today, on his death anniversary, his sister Shweta Singh has shared an emotional post. Apart from the sister, Sushant’s close friend in Bollywood Sara Ali Khan and ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande have also shared posts for him.
Sharing a post for brother Sushant, Shweta Singh wrote – Brother, it’s been 4 years since you left. We don’t know till date what happened on 14 June 2020. Your death remains a mystery. I pleaded for the truth, but today, for the last time, I am asking all those who can help. Don’t we have the right to know what happened to our brother Sushant?
Sushant was found dead in his flat on June 14, 2020
Sushant Singh Rajput was found mysteriously dead in his house in Bandra on June 14, 2020. At first glance, the case seemed like a suicide, but later due to pressure from the media and opposition parties, the investigation of this case was handed over to the CBI. In the last report of CBI, the real cause of death was stated to be suicide.
When the CBI was investigating this case, the drugs angle came to the fore. The Narcotics Control Bureau had conducted a large-scale investigation in this case. The matter of a drug syndicate also came to light in the investigation.
Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty was badly trapped in this drugs case. Rhea was accused of taking drugs herself and also giving drugs to Sushant. Apart from this, Sushant’s family also accused Rhea of harassing Sushant mentally and financially.
The show Pavitra Rishta changed Sushant’s fortunes
2009 was lucky for Sushant. This year he appeared in the TV show Pavitra Rishta with Ankita Lokhande. Ekta Kapoor was impressed by his smile and gave him work in this show. The audience liked the pairing of Manav and Archana in the show. Sushant was honored with three big television awards for the role of Manav, including the Best Male Actor and Most Popular Actor awards.
