Mumbai: Varun Dhawan recently updated his fans on social media about a finger injury he sustained, sharing a photo that reveals a deep cut on his finger, captioned, “This one cut deep.” Just a week earlier, on February 10, he had posted an image showing several bruises on his arm, indicating the physical toll of his work, and remarked, “Few of the many bruises this week. War isn’t easy.”
In a lighter moment, he also shared a behind-the-scenes picture with Sunny Deol from the set of “Border 2,” the sequel to the 1997 war film, which is currently being filmed in Jhansi. The photo features the two actors on a military tanker, with Varun dressed in a white vest, blue shirt, brown pants, and sunglasses, while Sunny wore a blue shirt and green cargo pants. Varun captioned the image, “Sunny days. Hameraa saab ji (Our sir). #border2 #indianarmy Jan 2026.”
Additionally, Varun’s action-drama “Baby John,” which premiered in theaters on December 25, 2024, is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video starting February 19. Expressing his enthusiasm about the film’s global release, Varun stated, “Baby John marks a significant milestone in my career, challenging me to step beyond my comfort zone—not only in terms of the physical demands of the role but also as an actor.” He acknowledged the influence of Indian cinema’s legendary action stars and expressed gratitude for working with a talented team, emphasizing his excitement for the film’s reach on Prime Video, a platform he has a long-standing relationship with.
