Working in films is easier than working in active politics: MP-elect Mandi Kangana Ranaut

After completing 18 years in the industry, Kangana has now entered field of politics.

MP-elect from Mandi actress Kangana Ranaut is in the headlines for many reasons. Recently during an interview she opened up on balancing between politics and films. She also made a striking comment that working in films is easier than doing politics.

Kangana Ranaut also known as the Bollywood Queen made her Bollywood debut in 2006 with the film ‘Gangster’. After completing 18 years in the industry, Kangana has now entered field of politics.

Kangana Ranaut, who is elected MP from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh , revealed in a recent interview that she got an offer to join politics after her debut film ‘Gangster’. The actress also revealed her key to balance her political and acting career.

The actress said, “This was not the first time I was approached to join politics. I was offered a ticket immediately after my debut film ‘Gangster’. My great grandfather was also an MLA. So my family has already been very active in politics. My father also got an offer. When my sister Rangoli survived an acid attack, she also got an offer to join politics.’

Talking about winning election from Mandi, the actress said, people of Mandi have given her this opportunity and she will not disappoint them.

Talking about balancing politics and acting, Kangana said, “I am someone who follows her passion. I am also an actor, writer, director and producer in the film industry. Similarly, I will do whatever I can in my political career. She also added that working in films is easier than working in politics as it takes lot of efforts.”
