Chandigarh, May 15: Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh’s father, Yograj Singh, has given a statement on Indian cricketers Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma’s retirement from Test cricket. Yograj Singh said- Kohli and Rohit Sharma still have a lot of cricket left in them, but they have already retired.
He said that both these players are among the big players of the country. In such a situation, India is bound to suffer a loss. Former cricketer Yuvraj Singh’s father, Yograj Singh, gave this statement while talking to a news agency.
Yograj said- I had forbidden Yuvraj from retiring
Yograj Singh said- Virat and Rohit are big players of the country’s cricket. Therefore, the Indian team will suffer if they leave. When many players were either removed or retired in 2011. Many players were forced to retire, the team fell apart and has not yet recovered. But everyone’s time comes.
Yograj Singh further said- I think Virat and Rohit still have a lot of cricket left in them. I told Yuvi (Yuvraj Singh) that when he was retiring, it was not the right step. When someone cannot walk, they should leave the field. If you make a team full of youngsters, it will always fall apart.
Yograj said- Rohit and Sehwag retired too early
Yograj further said- Maybe Virat feels that he has nothing left to achieve. But I think Rohit Sharma needs a person who inspires him daily. Rohit and Virender Sehwag are two people who retired very early. Big players should play till the age of 50, I am saddened by their retirement, because now there is no one left to inspire the youth.
