Mumbai: Thursday marks the birthday of filmmaker Farhan Akhtar, and his loved ones are ensuring he feels truly cherished on his special day. His sisters, Zoya Akhtar and Farah Khan, shared heartfelt messages on Instagram to celebrate him.

Zoya posted a charming photo from a family gathering at midnight, featuring smiles from Farhan, Farah, and Anusha Dandekar as they got ready to cut their birthday cakes—Anusha’s birthday also falls on January 9. On the professional front, Farhan is set to star in ‘120 Bahadur,’ which will premiere in theaters on November 21, 2025. The film, based on the 1962 Indo-China war, pays tribute to Major Shaitan Singh Bhati PVC and the soldiers of Charlie Company, 13 Kumaon Regiment, inspired by the historic Battle of Rezang La, with Farhan portraying the role of Shaitan Singh Bhati PVC. Meanwhile, Farah has joined as a jury member for Celebrity MasterChef.
