Ten years imprisonment and one crore fine, Examination unfair means prevention bill introduced

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu introduced the Himachal Pradesh Public Examination Unfair Means Prevention Bill 2025 in the House on Monday. It has been provided that if anyone commits organized crime in the public examination by cheating or unfair means, then in such a situation, the punishment will not be less than five years, which can be extended to ten years.

Apart from this, he will be fined up to one crore rupees. All crimes will be non-bailable. Apart from this, the punishment for other involved persons will not be less than three years and a maximum of five years.

The fine for this will be Rs 10 lakh. For this, a provision of imprisonment of three to 10 years and a fine of up to one crore rupees is being made even if the service provider responsible for this remains silent.

Tax Bill on Carriage of Certain Goods Bill tabled

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh tabled the Himachal Pradesh Road Tax Bill in the House. Some provisions are being made in this for the recovery of outstanding tax. Like other introduced bills, this bill will be proposed to be passed on Tuesday.
