Expanding Scope of War Creating Catastrophic Crisis

Amidst the ongoing US-Israel-Iran war, the nuclear watchdog of the United Nations Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has issued a warning that, given the intensity of the war, catastrophic devastation could occur even without the use of nuclear bombs. It is true that the devastation so far has not reached its peak, but Rafael Grassi, head of the Atomic Energy Agency, says that even if nuclear bombs are not used, if the opposing countries attack each other’s nuclear facilities and try to destroy them, nuclear leaks could occur from the destroyed reactors.

If a radioactive leak occurs, a serious situation could arise, requiring the evacuation of major cities as a precaution. Therefore, Rafael Grassi urged that this war be stopped as soon as possible, otherwise the adverse effects of the bombing could have devastating consequences. Iran is already in turmoil. If Israel or any other country with a nuclear program were to respond, it could also pose a risk of a nuclear leak. To prevent such a nuclear disaster, dialogue must be initiated in a timely manner. Who knows how long the ongoing war will last, whether it will remain normal or become more destructive? Meanwhile, Iran has also blocked the Strait of Hormus, a major route for the world’s oil supply.

Saudi Arabia’s Aramco, the world’s largest oil refinery, has been temporarily shut down after a drone attack. Qatar Energy has announced the suspension of LNG production. Oil and gas prices in Europe have skyrocketed in the initial shock. How long will the Third World and India survive this?

The entire world is currently sweltering in the heat of war. The US hoped that if Khamenei and his fellow leadership were eliminated from Iran, the common people and youth of Iran would feel liberated and applaud the actions of the US and Israel. However, this was not to be expected. Khamenei’s supporters still hold sway in power in Iran. They are fighting a do-or-die war. North Korea is also being watched to see if it will jump into the fray in support of Iran. If it does, the devastation will be even more widespread. Trump, on the other hand, is currently upset that Britain and France are offering tacit support but not fully jumping into the war.

Russia and China, on the other hand, are tacitly supporting Iran. China has again expressed displeasure with the US attack on Iran.
In short, dialogue will not begin until Iran’s militant fundamentalist army inflicts significant damage on the US. Now, this volcano of destruction will subside in a week, or as Donald Trump says, America is preparing for a five-week war.

If necessary, the war can be extended for a longer period. Currently, major attacks are being carried out by Iran in the Gulf countries. Arab countries are being forced to take one side or the other in the war. In such a situation, India and Modi’s stance is to restore peace through dialogue. But for now, the attacking countries’ goal seems to be to change the regime in Iran.
