Faridabad: Wanted Accused Tries to Run Over Youth with Scorpio, Video Surfaces

Faridabad: A shocking incident unfolded in the Dhauj area of ​​Faridabad district on Wednesday afternoon. It is alleged that a wanted suspect, who fled upon learning of the arrival of the Yamunanagar CIA team, attempted to run over a young man with his black Scorpio SUV, suspecting him of tipping off the police. A 17-second video of the incident, recorded on the mobile phones of bystanders, is now going viral on social media.

CIA Team Gives Chase; Suspect Escapes

According to reports, a CIA team from Yamunanagar arrived in Faridabad around 2 PM on Wednesday to arrest Parvez Talim—a wanted resident of Dhauj—based on information provided by an accused already in custody for a theft case. It is reported that as soon as the suspect got wind of the police’s arrival, he fled the scene in a black Scorpio with an accomplice.

The CIA team pursued him, but he managed to give the police the slip and escape.

Verbal Abuse Against Woman; Clash Between Parties

After fleeing, the suspect reportedly went straight to Sirohi village, which falls under the jurisdiction of Dhauj village. There, he arrived at the home of a woman named Shahnaz and began hurling verbal abuse. The dispute escalated quickly, leading to a physical altercation between the two groups. The confrontation spilled over from the house into the fields, where a large crowd gathered.

Youth Injured After Being Hit by Vehicle

The suspect suspected that a man named Nafis had tipped off the Yamunanagar CIA about him. Allegedly driven by this suspicion, he drove his Scorpio towards several people before targeting Nafis, who was running for his life. The video shows Nafis running towards a house to save himself while the speeding Scorpio bears down on him from behind.

Other Family Members Also Injured

Nafis was reportedly critically injured after being struck by the Scorpio. Subsequently, the vehicle crashed into the wall of a house. Immediately after the accident, the accused and his accomplice got out of the vehicle and fled the scene. Apart from Nasif, some other members of Shahnaz’s family were also injured in the incident. All the injured have been admitted to a private hospital for treatment.

Police searching for the wanted accused

Upon receiving information about the incident, the local police arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation. Officials stated that all aspects are being examined, and further legal action will be taken based on the findings. Meanwhile, the search for the wanted accused by the Yamunanagar CIA is also ongoing.
