Faridabad Horror: Teacher Allegedly Stabbed 34 Times in 30 Seconds by Stalker, Accused Arrested

Faridabad: A 29-year-old teacher was allegedly stabbed to death inside a private school in Haryana’s Faridabad district on Wednesday after being attacked by a man police say had been stalking her for nearly two years. The accused, identified as Amit (21), was arrested within hours of the incident following a swift police investigation.

The victim, Sandhya, was employed at a private school in Sikrona village, near a police outpost. According to investigators, the accused entered the school campus on Wednesday morning with his head, face and shoulders covered with a white cloth and asked school staff if he could meet the teacher.

After being informed about the visitor, Sandhya stepped outside to meet him. Police said the accused then launched a sudden knife attack, repeatedly stabbing her before fleeing the scene on a motorcycle without a registration number plate.

CCTV Captures Brutal Attack Inside School Premises

According to police, CCTV cameras installed at the school captured the accused waiting inside the lobby before signalling the teacher to come outside. The footage reportedly shows him grabbing Sandhya by the neck, dragging her outside and repeatedly stabbing her on her face, neck and chest.

School staff rushed to the spot after hearing screams. The school administrator, who attempted to intervene, alleged that the attacker threatened him with the knife before continuing the assault and escaping.

Sandhya was immediately taken to Al Falah Hospital, where doctors declared her dead on arrival.

Accused Arrested Within Hours, Police Probe Motive

Police launched an intensive search operation and arrested Amit, a resident of Kot village, within two hours of the crime. During questioning, the accused allegedly confessed to his involvement, officials said.

Preliminary investigations indicate that Amit had known the victim for around two years and had repeatedly tried to contact her despite her lack of interest. Police said Sandhya had recently filed a molestation complaint against him, after which he had reportedly apologised publicly.

Investigators suspect the murder may have been an act of revenge linked to the earlier complaint. Police are examining all evidence, including CCTV footage and witness statements, to establish the complete sequence of events.

Investigation Continues

The body has been sent for post-mortem examination, and further investigation is underway. Police are also verifying additional evidence to determine whether the attack was premeditated and if any other individuals were involved.

Officials have assured that the case will be investigated thoroughly and that all legal action will be taken in accordance with the law.
