Fatehabad, April 12: A case has been registered against two individuals in the village of Phulan, in the Fatehabad district, on charges of assaulting a grandfather and his grandson. The police at the Fatehabad Sadar Police Station have filed the case against the two accused and have initiated an investigation. In this incident, the grandfather was attacked with a knife, while the grandson was physically assaulted.

Dharampal and Atmaprakash jointly verbally abused Mausam and told him that they would handle the wheat harvesting themselves, ordering him to “get out of here.” Amidst this exchange, Atmaprakash pulled out a sharp knife he was carrying and handed it to Dharampal, instructing him to “finish them off today” so that no one would dare to interfere with them in the future.

Immediately after saying this, Dharampal took the knife from Atmaprakash and began attacking Mausam; when Man Singh attempted to intervene, Dharampal shoved him aside. Man Singh further stated that as he tried to pull his son, Mausam, away from Dharampal, the latter attacked him with the knife he was holding. This resulted in a deep wound on his hand, which began to bleed profusely.

Man Singh recounted that Mausam managed to pull him away from the altercation and helped him into a vehicle. They escaped the scene with great difficulty, barely saving their lives. Afterward, Mausam took him to the Civil Hospital in Fatehabad, from where the doctors referred him to Agroha for further treatment. However, his family members decided to take him to a private hospital instead.
