CM Mann Announces Arrangements for “Shaheedi Jorh Mel” in Fatehgarh Sahib: Security, Healthcare, and More

Fatehgarh Sahib: Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday briefed the media about the arrangements for the three-day Shaheedi Jorh Mel in Fatehgarh Sahib. He said that the entire district will be divided into six zones, and these zones will be monitored through drones.

3,300 police personnel deployed for security

The Chief Minister said that 3,300 police personnel will be deployed during the three-day Martyrdom Day celebrations in Fatehgarh Sahib. A regional magistrate and a senior police officer will be responsible for security in each zone. More than 300 CCTV cameras are being installed for security, and drones will be used for continuous monitoring.

Integrated control room set up

The Chief Minister said that the police have set up an integrated control room in Fatehgarh Sahib, whose number is 01763-232838. This control room will have officers from the police, medical aid and other departments.

Parking Arrangements and Shuttle Bus Service

The Chief Minister said that five big and 16 small parking lots have been created, from where people will be taken to the gate by shuttle buses and e-rickshaws. All these services will be provided completely free of cost. Shuttle buses will also run from Gurdwara Sahib to the surrounding villages, where accommodation has been arranged.

Healthcare facilities and blood donation camps

The Chief Minister announced that during the Shaheed Diwas, six dispensaries and 20 Aam Aadmi clinics will be opened, which will have doctors and paramedical staff. Sixty ambulances will also be available. Apart from this, a blood donation camp will be set up where devotees can donate blood.

Volunteers deployed for cleaning

Bhagwant Mann said that Aam Aadmi Party volunteers will help in the cleanliness drive. They will carry bags to collect garbage. Apart from this, Cleaning machines have also been installed for cleaning.

Temporary towers to ensure mobile network stability

The Chief Minister said that in view of such a big event, mobile companies have been requested to install temporary towers so that people do not face any problem with mobile signal.

Information sharing through Google

The police department has approached Google to provide information to devotees about parking and routes. Through Google, people will be able to know about parking areas and routes with high traffic.

Coordination with SGPC is needed

The Chief Minister said that the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has not approached the government about the arrangements inside the Gurdwara Sahib. If the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee needs any assistance inside, the government is ready to provide it.

No VIP facilities

The Chief Minister said that the Fatehgarh Sahib area will not be made a VIP zone for three days. Only shuttle buses and e-rickshaws will be available.

Responsibility for cleaning after Langar Sewa

Bhagwant Mann appealed that after the Langar Sewa to be held across Punjab, people should clean the roads to avoid accidents.

Appeal to youth for peace

The Chief Minister appealed to the youth of the state not to participate in tractor and trolley races or use loudspeakers during Shaheedi Diwas. This is a time of peace and devotion.
