Fazilka: Youth dies after drowning in flood water

The Indo-Pakistan border area of ​​Fazilka is in a flood situation. Due to this, many villages are in its grip. Bad news has come out from the village of Rete Wali Bhaini, where a youth who went to save the cattle swept away in the water of the Sutlej drowned himself in the water and went missing.

The body of the youth was found floating in the water for the fourth day today. The body of the deceased has been kept in the government hospital for a postmortem.

Giving information, the village sarpanch said that the deceased Harbhajan Singh alias Bittu (30 years) was a resident of the village of Rete Wali Bhaini. Whose house had also been swept away by the flood in the Sutlej river, and due to this, his cattle swept away in the water too. When Harbhajan Singh went to save the cattle swept away in the water, suddenly his foot slipped, and due to the high-speed water he drowned.

The search for missing Harbhajan Singh was going on for the last few days, whose body was found floating in the water near village Jhangar Bhaini today. According to the Sarpanch, the deceased youth was married and had three children. His father and brother had also died before this. He has appealed for financial help for the family.
