Ferozepur Boy Shravan Singh who helped Army during Op Sindoor to be felicitated by PM Modi

Shravan Singh, a child who played a courageous role during Operation Sindoor, will be awarded the Prime Minister’s National Child Award. Shravan has left for Delhi to receive the award.

It is noteworthy that during Operation Sindoor, Shravan (10) used to take lassi, milk, and roti from his home to feed the soldiers deployed on the border. Other children of such a young age were afraid and would stay wrapped in their mother’s lap in such an environment, but he used to roam fearlessly on the border.

Shravan Singh, a student of City Heart School in Mamdot, has left for Delhi to receive the Prime Minister’s National Child Award on December 26. He is the only student from Punjab to participate in the Prime Minister’s National Child Award to be held in Delhi this year. He helped the Indian Army a lot during Operation Sindoor.

Seeing the spirit of this child, the Indian Army honored him with several medals. Now he has been selected for the Prime Minister’s National Child Award in 2025. On this occasion, school principal Rajni Sharma congratulated the student and his parents and sent Shravan off to Delhi.

She also encouraged other students to be good human beings and support their country in difficult times.
