Brampton, Canada: A tragic fire broke out at the home of a Punjabi family from Ludhiana’s Gurm village in Brampton City, Canada, resulting in the death of four family members. The incident came to light in Punjab after a distressing video of the fire surfaced online.

Pregnant Woman and Husband Escape; Unborn Child Lost

According to relatives, Jugraj Singh managed to escape the house soon after the fire erupted. His pregnant wife, Arshveer Kaur, jumped from the roof to save her life. While she survived the fall, her unborn child died in the incident. Both husband and wife have been admitted to a hospital, and their condition remains unknown.

Four Family Members Die in the Blaze

Close family member Happy Shankar confirmed that four people—Harinder, Anu, Gurjeet Kaur, and a two-year-old child—were trapped inside the house and died after being burned in the fire.

Witnesses reported that as the fire spread rapidly, people were forced to evacuate the house through the roof in a desperate attempt to survive.
