Firing at YouTuber Sam’s house in Punjab, Threatened by Pakistani don Shahzad Bhatti

Hoshiarpur, Punjab: Last night, unknown masked attackers opened fire outside the house of famous social worker and YouTuber Sam Hussainpuri in Model Town area of Hussainpur in Hoshiarpur, Punjab.

At around 12:45 pm, two youths came on a motorcycle and fled after firing two rounds at the gate of the house.

The incident has been captured in a nearby CCTV camera. In it, both the accused are seen running away after committing the crime.

According to information, Sam Hussainpuri was warned by Pakistani don Shahzad Bhatti that like Jalandhar, a grenade attack will be carried out on his house too. After this threat, Hussainpur police provided him two gunmen for security.

Sam raised questions on police security

Sam alleges that out of the two gunmen given to him, one policeman has a bad leg and is unable to perform his duty properly. He has demanded from the Punjab government and police that he be given fit and trained security personnel so that any untoward incident can be avoided.

Sleep was broken by the sound of gunfire

Sam said that he was sleeping in his house at the time of the firing. When he suddenly heard the sound of bullets and came out, he found two shells lying near the gate. He immediately informed the police. The Model Town police reached the spot and seized the shells and started the investigation.

Investigation intensified, police is examining CCTV footage

Model Town police has seized the CCTV footage and efforts are being made to identify the attackers. At present, the police is also investigating the angle of Shahzad Bhatti’s threat, as similarities are being found in the method of firing and the earlier warning.

Police sources say that a big gang might be involved in this incident as Sam Hussainpuri’s name was on the target list of Pakistani dons on social media for some time.
