Firing incident at Ludhiana businessman’s house, Police beefs up security

Following the shooting at a real estate businessman’s house on Lohara Road in Ludhiana, the police have increased his security. The businessman has been assigned two gunmen, who will be stationed outside his house. Police are examining CCTV footage from the routes the criminals used to fire. So far, they have checked over 100 CCTV footage.

Police are also investigating the ransom note.

Police are checking every location on GNE College Road. The criminals fired shots and headed towards GNE College. A note demanding a ransom of ₹5 crore (50 million rupees) in the name of gangster Kaushal Chaudhary was found at the scene. Police have also compared the handwriting of some suspects to the note.

Police claim to have solved the case soon. CCTV footage obtained by the police captures the sound of gunfire, and the criminals fleeing on a bike.

The criminals fired 15 to 18 bullets.

According to information, the incident occurred three days ago, on Sunday morning, at 3 am. The glass of the balcony was shattered by the bullets. A slip of paper was found at the scene, which read Kaushal Chaudhary Group and 5 crore rupees. The miscreants fired 15 to 18 bullets outside his house. Businessman Nandlal reported the incident to the police.

Nandlal retired from the army in 2006 as a subedar and now runs a real estate business in Ludhiana. He has two sons, one a doctor and the other a bank manager.
