Amid ‘Rs 500 Crore Controversy’ Navjot Singh Sidhu seeks time to meet Priyanka Gandhi

Former president Navjot Singh Sidhu has now entered the fray in the Punjab Congress. After the controversy over the statements of his wife, Dr. Navjot Kaur Sidhu, Navjot Singh Sidhu has sought time to meet Priyanka Gandhi. Sidhu wants to put his side before any action by the high command.

High-level committee formed 

On the other hand, the Congress high command has formed a high-level committee to investigate the statement of Dr. Navjot Kaur of Rs 500 crore to the Chief Minister. It will be headed by the party’s Punjab in-charge Bhupesh Baghel.

The rest of the members of the high-level committee have not been disclosed yet. The high command has taken a strong stand on the statements of Dr. Navjot Kaur Sidhu. The Congress high command has sought a detailed report from the party’s Punjab in-charge Bhupesh Baghel. The high command is angry with this controversy within the Congress party and that too right before the 2027 assembly elections.

No reaction by Navjot Singh Sidhu

However, her husband, Navjot Sidhu, has not yet given any reaction to the media on this matter. Reports of his visit to Amritsar and later going to Mumbai had come out, but he did not appear in the media. Away from Punjab politics, he used to give bold statements through social media earlier, but has remained silent on this issue.
