Air services have been expanded from Maharaja Agrasen Airport of Hisar. Now, air travel from Hisar Airport to Jaipur will start from September 12. At the same time, Haryana Civil Aviation Department has sent a request letter to Alliance Air to start air travel from Hisar to Ahmedabad in addition to Jammu to further expand the air services. Service has been requested for two days a week for Jammu and Ahmedabad. As soon as the department gets permission, services from Hisar to Jammu and Ahmedabad will also start.
According to the Haryana Civil Aviation Department, passengers will be able to avail the benefit of air travel from Hisar Airport to Jaipur on the fifth day of the week i.e., every Friday. The distance from Hisar to Jaipur is about 340 kilometers.
The journey by road takes about six to seven hours. Air travel will save time and one can reach Jaipur from Hisar in just 1 hour and 5 minutes. Alliance Air’s North West South Head Rantan Dutta has also sent an official letter for determining the time of air travel from Hisar to Jaipur. Alliance Air’s 72-seater aircraft will be deployed here.
4310 passengers travelled on Hisar-Ayodhya, Chandigarh and Delhi route
Haryana Civil Aviation Department had started air travel for Hisar-Delhi-Ayodhya-Hisar on 14 April. Similarly, air service was operated for Hisar-Chandigarh-Hisar from 9 June. According to the department, about 2510 passengers have travelled from Hisar to Ayodhya. 500 passengers have availed the service for Hisar-Chandigarh-Hisar and 1300 passengers have availed the service for Hisar-Delhi.
