Flights will increase at Gaggal Airport from Sept 18, aviation companies release schedule

As soon as the rainy season officially ends, the number of flights at Gaggal Airport will increase. Flights that were stopped due to bad weather and tension between India and Pakistan will resume. Aviation companies have released the schedule of these flights on booking sites. According to the information, three SpiceJet and two Indigo flights will operate at Gaggal Airport from September 18. SpiceJet is restarting a closed flight.

This will increase the number of its flights at the airport to three. According to the schedule, there will be two flights each on Monday and Friday, while three flights will be operated on other days. At the same time, both the flights of Indigo that are already running will continue as before.

Flights stopped during the monsoon

Let us tell you that this time during the monsoon, rain has wreaked havoc in Himachal Pradesh for the last two to three months. Due to this, the roads in many parts of the state have been damaged. This also affected the movement of tourists. The rainy season in the state is considered to be over after September 15. In such a situation, the adventure activities and tourist events that were stopped will start again.

Ashwani Bamba, President of Hotel and Restaurant Association Dharamshala-McLeodganj, said that the tourism business is expected to increase after September 15. He said that calls have started coming to hotels for booking, and tourists are gathering information about the weather and road conditions. Business is expected to pick up as soon as the weather clears.
