Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Arvind Kejriwal on Punjab Visit

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, and former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal are coming today to take stock of the situation in Punjab.

Ravi caused the most damage in the state this year. Flood water has receded from many villages and damage has started coming to the fore. Sand has accumulated in people’s houses. Crops in the fields are in the grip of sand.

Not only this, the condition of the houses is very pathetic. Cracks have appeared on the walls. Many roofs have collapsed. The kutcha houses are not fit for living. People are now looking towards the central and state government for compensation and to stand on their feet again.
