Fog wreaks havoc in Haryana: Roadways bus collides with truck in Ambala, four injured

A major road accident occurred in Ambala this morning amidst dense fog, when a Haryana Roadways bus collided with a truck. Four people, including the bus driver, were injured in the accident.

The truck driver fled the scene, taking advantage of the fog. According to the police and eyewitnesses, the accident involved a Haryana Roadways bus traveling from Kurukshetra towards Ambala Cantt.

At around 7 AM, due to extremely low visibility caused by the dense fog, the bus driver was unable to accurately judge the distance of the truck ahead, and the bus rear-ended the truck with considerable force. The front of the bus was severely damaged in the collision.

There were 35 to 40 passengers on the bus at the time. Fortunately, no other vehicles collided with the bus after the initial impact; the accident could have been much more serious.

The injured include the bus driver, whose condition is reported to be serious. The other three injured passengers have also been admitted to Adarsh ​​Hospital in Mohri, Ambala, for immediate treatment. According to doctors, all the injured are in stable condition and out of danger.

The truck driver fled the scene immediately after the accident, taking advantage of the fog. The police have launched an investigation into the incident and are searching for the absconding truck driver.
