Former cricketer Harbhajan Singh distributed electronic wheelchairs on Independence Day

Kapurthala, Punjab: Rajya Sabha MP and former cricketer Harbhajan Singh distributed electronic wheelchairs to 6 needy people on the occasion of Independence Day in Kapurthala. He provided these wheelchairs from his MP Land Fund.

At a function organized in the District Administrative Complex, Harbhajan Singh said that he will soon provide wheelchairs to the needy people of the surrounding villages as well.

Deputy Commissioner lauds

He also presented fruit baskets to the beneficiaries. Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar Panchal praised the work of Harbhajan Singh in the program. The district administration honored him by presenting him a photo of Sainik School and a shawl.

SSP Gaurav Tura, Additional Deputy Commissioner Navneet Kaur Bal, District Program Officer Rajiv Dhanda and other officers were present at the ceremony. During this, they remembered the sacrifices of the freedom fighters and paid tribute to them.
