Former MLA of Barwala Assembly Inder Singh Nain passed away late Friday night. Former MLA 92-year-old Inder Singh Nain, who was ill for the last few days, was admitted to Jindal Hospital. His last rites will be taken out today at around 11 am on Saturday. The last rites will be performed in his native village Hasangarh. His family has been living in Azad Nagar area of Hisar for a long time.
Inder Singh Nain has been associated with the Congress party for a long time. He won the assembly elections in 1982 on a Congress ticket. He was an MLA from Barwala from 1982 to 1987. Inder Singh Nain was the chairman of Hafed in the Congress government. During his tenure as chairman, he built grain sales centers for farmers in many villages including his own village.
Inder Singh Nain had also contested from Narwana Assembly by joining Haryana Vikas Party (HVP) with former CM Chaudhary Bansi Lal. In which he had to face defeat. Former MLA Inder Singh Nain has no children. He has adopted his nephew Advocate Jaiveer Nain.
Villagers said that during his tenure as MLA, Indra Singh Nain had strongly raised the problems of the area in the assembly. His nephew Rajveer said that Indra Singh Nain was currently active in social work rather than politics. Barwala MLA and state PWD Minister Ranbir Gangwa has expressed grief over the demise of former MLA Indra Singh Nain.

MLA Naresh Selwal said that Indra Singh Nain was not only an experienced and senior politician. His life has been an example of struggle, service and dedication. His departure is an irreparable loss for all of us.
