Fraud at Vardhman Company in Ludhiana, FIR filed against senior manager using fake degree

Ludhiana: A case of fraud has come to light at Vardhman Amarte Private Limited, a prestigious industrial institution located on Chandigarh Road in Ludhiana.

A young man concealed his true identity and qualifications and obtained a senior manager (accounts) position in the company using fake degrees.

After a lengthy investigation, the police have registered a case of fraud and breach of trust against the accused.

Obtained position using fake degree

In a complaint filed with the Jamalpur police, Divyakant Singh (Vardhman Amarte Private Limited) stated that the accused, Karan Singhania, a resident of Model Town, had submitted false documents and fake degrees to obtain the job.

Based on these forged documents, he not only secured a high position but also earned a hefty salary for a long period.

Truth revealed in investigation

This case began with a complaint filed on the PGD system (number 607773) on June 24, 2025.

Police investigation revealed that the accused misled the company about his qualifications and obtained financial benefits.

Serious discrepancies were found in his actual qualifications and documents.

Major police action

Jamalpur police have registered a case against the accused, Karan Singhania, under sections 316(4), 318(4), and 351 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
