Jalandhar: Two miscreants who came to rob in Kala Sanghia, Jalandhar, shot a grocery businessman. The miscreants also fired at Nihang Singh who came to save the businessman, but he survived and caught a miscreant.
According to the information, bike-borne robbers shot and seriously injured grocery businessman Raju Sapra on Jalandhar Road in Kala Sanghia. According to the police, businessman Raju Sapra was shot by criminals late at night.
Police officials said, Nihang Singh Baba Hari Singh Kalyanpur was passing by the shop, tried to control the miscreants, but the miscreants also fired at him. But the bullet did not hit him. The robbers fired 3 shots, during which the Nihang Singhs and the shopkeeper caught one robber on the spot.
The arrested miscreant has been identified as Daljit Pamma, son of Ranjit Singh, a resident of village Aujla. While his accomplice was Raju Ahmedpur fled from the spot.
