Gautam Gambhir Relaxes in Singapore After T20 World Cup Triumph

Singapore: Indian men’s cricket team head coach Gautam Gambhir is vacationing in Singapore with his family after their historic victory in the T20 World Cup 2026. He is accompanied by his wife Natasha and daughters Aazeen and Anaiza.

Gambhir was recently spotted on the city streets in a casual look, smiling with his daughters. In one photo, he was seen walking with his younger daughter Anaiza on his shoulder.

Played a Key Role in India’s Historic Victory
India won the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 by defeating the New Zealand cricket team by 96 runs in the final. The match was played at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

With this victory, India became the first team in T20 World Cup history to win the title three times and also the first to defend the title on home soil. Gambhir’s family also witnessed this historic moment.

History made as both player and coach
Gautam Gambhir, who was part of India’s T20 World Cup victory in 2007, has now reached a special position by winning this title as a coach as well. He joins the select group of coaches that includes names like Rahul Dravid and Lalchand Rajput.

Gambhir previously led the Kolkata Knight Riders to the IPL 2024 title, after which he was appointed the head coach of Team India.

Team India’s schedule will remain busy
Team India will play a multi-format series against the Afghanistan national cricket team in June 2026, consisting of one Test and three ODIs. The team will then tour Ireland to play two T20Is and then leave for a five-match T20I and three-match ODI series against England.
