A massive fire broke out at around 8:30 AM on Wednesday morning in a building within the Gaur Green Avenue Society in Ghaziabad. The fire originated on the 9th floor of the 15-story building. In a matter of moments, the flames engulfed the 3–4 floors situated above it. Towering flames began to rise from the structure. The blaze was so intense that plumes of smoke were visible from a distance of approximately 5 kilometers.

Fortunately, the residents of the affected flats managed to escape in time, fleeing down the stairwells to safety. The incident triggered panic and chaos throughout the society. Due to the heavy smoke, several individuals experienced breathing difficulties and were immediately rushed to a hospital. Upon receiving the alert, eight fire tenders arrived at the scene and immediately commenced operations to extinguish the fire.
Firefighters were facing significant challenges in bringing the blaze under control, particularly in the upper sections of the building. Residents of an adjacent building also attempted to assist in extinguishing the fire using water pipes. The exact cause of the fire remains unknown at this time.
Ambulance services and police teams are present at the site. The affected building, as well as neighboring structures, have been evacuated, and residents have been moved to safe locations away from the immediate vicinity.
