New Delhi, August 12: There is a fall in the price of gold today i.e. on 12th August. According to India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), the price of 24-carat gold has fallen by Rs 408 to Rs 99,549 per 10 grams. Earlier, gold was at Rs 99,957. On August 8, gold had made an all-time high of Rs 1,01,406.
The price of silver has increased by Rs 92 to Rs 1,13,593 per kg. Earlier, silver was at Rs 1,13,501. On July 23, silver had made an all-time high of Rs 1,15,850.

Gold has become costlier by Rs 23,387 so far this year
This year, i.e. from January 1 till now, the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold has increased by Rs 23,387 from Rs 76,162 to Rs 99,549. At the same time, the price of silver has also increased by Rs 27,576 from Rs 86,017 per kg to Rs 1,13,593. Whereas last year i.e. in 2024, gold became costlier by Rs 12,810.
