    India’s Gold Prices Decline: Check Latest Rates

    New Delhi, July 29: There is a fall in the price of gold today, i.e., on 29th July. According to the India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), the price of 24-carat gold has fallen by Rs 172 to Rs 98,274 per 10 grams. Earlier, the price of gold was Rs 98,446.

    The price of silver has increased by Rs 606 to Rs 1,13,590 per kg. Earlier, silver was at Rs 1,12,984. On July 23, gold had made an all-time high of Rs 1,00,533 and silver Rs 1,15,850.

    Price of 10 grams of gold in 4 metros, including Bhopal

    • Delhi: Price of 24 carat gold is Rs 99,970 and price of 22 carat gold is Rs 91,650
    • Mumbai: Price of 24 carat gold is Rs 9,820 and price of 22 carat gold is Rs 91,500
    • Kolkata: 24 carat gold price is Rs 99,820 and 22 carat gold price is Rs 91,500
    • Chennai: 24 carat gold price is Rs 99,820 and 22 carat gold price is Rs 91,500
    • Bhopal: Price of 24 carat gold is Rs 99,870 and price of 22 carat gold is Rs 91,550

    Gold has become costlier by Rs 22,112 so far this year

    This year, i.e. from January 1 till now, the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold has increased by Rs 22,112 from Rs 76,162 to Rs 98,274. At the same time, the price of silver has also increased by Rs 27,573 from Rs 86,017 per kg to Rs 1,13,590. Last year, i.e. in 2024, gold became costlier by Rs 12,810.

    Always buy certified gold bearing the hallmark of Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). There is a 6-digit hallmark code on gold. This is called Hallmark Unique Identification Number or HUID. This number is alphanumeric i.e. something like this- AZ4524. Through hallmarking, it is possible to find out how many carats a gold has.
