New Delhi, August 19: There is a fall in the price of gold and silver today, i.e. on 19th August. According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 24-carat gold has fallen by Rs 477 to Rs 99,146 per 10 grams. Earlier, gold was at Rs 99,623. On August 8, gold had made an all-time high of Rs 1,01,406.
At the same time, the price of silver has come down by Rs 885 today to Rs 1,13,165 per kg. Earlier, silver was at Rs 1,14,050. On July 23, silver had made an all-time high of Rs 1,15,850.

Gold has become costlier by Rs 22,984 so far this year
This year, i.e. from January 1 till now, the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold has increased from Rs 76,162 to Rs 99,146 by Rs 22,984. At the same time, the price of silver has also increased from Rs 86,017 per kg to Rs 1,13,165 by Rs 27,148. Whereas last year i.e. in 2024, gold became costlier by Rs 12,810.
