    Gold prices hit record high of Rs 1,00,904 per 10g; Silver at Rs 1,14,505/kg

    New Delhi, August 7: Gold prices have reached an all-time high today i.e. on August 7. According to the India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), the price of 24 carat gold has increased by Rs 452 to Rs 1,00,904 per 10 grams. Earlier, the price of gold was Rs 1,00,452.

    At the same time, the price of Silver has increased by Rs 1,020 to Rs 1,14,505 per kg. Earlier, Silver was at Rs 1,13,485. On July 23, Silver had made an all-time high of Rs 1,15,850.

    This year gold can go up to Rs 1 lakh 4 thousand

    Ajay Kedia, Director of Kedia Advisory, says that geopolitical tensions are prevailing due to US tariffs. This is supporting gold. This is increasing the demand for gold. In such a situation, gold can reach up to Rs 1 lakh 4 thousand per 10 grams this year. Silver can reach up to Rs 1 lakh 30 thousand this year.

    Gold has become costlier by Rs 24,742 so far this year

    This year, i.e. from January 1 till now, the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold has increased from Rs 76,162 to Rs 24,742 and reached Rs 1,00,904. At the same time, the price of silver has also increased from Rs 86,017 per kg to Rs 28,488 and reached Rs 1,14,505. Last year, i.e. in 2024, gold became costlier by Rs 12,810.
