Gunfire erupts in Jalandhar’s Babu Labh Singh Nagar, leaving a young man seriously injured

Jalandhar: A bloody clash broke out between two groups over an old rivalry in Jalandhar’s Babu Labh Singh Nagar on Wednesday morning. One group is accused of firing approximately 25 rounds at the other. A young man named Rahul was seriously injured in the firing, suffering a bullet wound to the stomach. Police have launched an investigation following the incident.

Gunfire rocks the area early in the morning

According to reports, the incident occurred around 6 a.m. People were inside their homes when a sudden burst of gunfire rocked the entire area. Locals say the firing was so rapid that no one had time to react. Following the incident, panic gripped the area, and people hid in their homes.

Attackers Arrived at Nihang Bana

According to sources, the attackers arrived at the scene fully prepared. The main accused has been identified as Amarjeet Singh, who arrived at the scene dressed in the traditional Bana of a Nihang Singh. Several other young men were also present with him.

Rahul Targeted, Shot in the Stomach

It is reported that Amarjeet Singh and his associates opened fire indiscriminately upon seeing Rahul. Around 25 rounds were fired, one of which hit Rahul in the stomach. He fell to the ground, seriously injured.

Accused Escaped While Brandishing Weapons

After committing the crime, the accused and his associates fled the scene brandishing weapons. With the help of locals and family members, the injured Rahul was immediately admitted to a private hospital, where he is undergoing treatment. According to doctors, his condition remains critical.
