Ruckus in Gurdaspur school after 10 children admitted to hospital, food poisoning suspected

There was a stir in Gurdaspur when the health of the students of Meritorious School suddenly deteriorated after eating dinner. About 10 children studying in the school were immediately admitted to the Civil Hospital in Gurdaspur after complaining of vomiting, stomach pain, and nervousness.

After a preliminary examination, the doctors present at the hospital said that the health of the children had deteriorated due to food poisoning. According to the doctors, the condition of all the children is stable at present, and their treatment is ongoing.

As soon as information about the incident was received, the children’s parents also reached the Civil Hospital. Making serious allegations, the parents said that this is not the first time that there has been a problem with the quality of food in the school.

They said that even before this, a complaint had been made to the relevant authorities about the unavailability of proper, quality food, but no concrete action has been taken.

The parents have demanded that the matter be investigated seriously and that strict action be taken against those who are playing with the health of the children.
