Gurugram: Two sisters assaulted while returning from duty

Gurugram: A case of misbehaving with two sisters walking on a bike in Gwal Pahadi area of Gurugram has come to light. When the young women protested, the accused abused and called his acquaintances and beat them with sticks, due to which both the sister’s suffered injuries.

The complainant told the police that she is originally from Rae Bareli district of Uttar Pradesh and works in a private company in Gurugram. She lives near the Bandhwari area. At around 6 pm on Wednesday, she was returning to the room with her younger sister.

Young man on bike misbehaved

When they reached near the solar power station, a young man on a bike started misbehaving with them. When he protested, the young man got angry and called his colleagues on the phone. The accused hurled sticks at the two sisters, causing them serious injuries.

The young man said that someone else misbehaved.

The young woman stated that we were beaten like criminals for no reason. Strict action should be taken for the safety of women. The accused’s side claims that some other young man called out upon seeing them and they are being falsely accused. However, the victims say that it was clearly misbehavior and an attack.

Police are investigating

Regarding this, the investigating officer said that the case is under investigation. After recording statements from both sides, further legal action will be implemented.
