    Firing at Luxury Car Showroom in Gurugram, Driver Injured; Police Suspect Gang Link

    Gurugram: Miscreants opened fire at the luxury car showroom of Big Boy Toys near Hero Honda Chowk in Gurugram late Saturday evening. The shooters reportedly targeted a vehicle belonging to the owner of real estate company BPTP.

    At the time of the incident, the company owner was not present in the car.

    Driver Injured in the Attack

    The driver of the vehicle, identified as Rajpal, a resident of Rajasthan, sustained injuries after being hit by bullet splinters during the firing. After receiving information about the incident, police teams rushed to the spot and shifted the injured driver to a nearby hospital for treatment.

    The firing caused significant damage to the showroom. The glass door of the showroom was shattered, and the windows of several luxury vehicles parked inside were also damaged.

    An FIR has been registered at Sector 37 police station, and an investigation is currently underway.

    Possible Link to Himanshu Bhau Gang

    Police sources said the incident could be linked to threats issued earlier by the gang of gangster Himanshu Bhau.

    According to reports, the owner of BPTP had received extortion threats from the Bhau gang in October 2024, demanding several crores of rupees. A case related to the threat had already been registered at Sector 37 police station.

    Shooters Arrived on Motorcycle

    The attack took place around 7 pm on Saturday when three miscreants arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire near Hero Honda Chowk. However, the intended target was not present in the vehicle at that time.

    Police are currently examining CCTV footage and other evidence from the area.

    Police Identify Three Accused

    Police spokesperson Sandeep Kumar said that three suspects involved in the firing have been identified. The accused have been named as Atul, Deepak, and Neeraj, residents of Kulasi village in Jhajjar district of Haryana.

    Police teams are conducting raids to arrest the suspects and stated that they are likely to be apprehended soon.
