Gurgram: Several prestigious schools in Gurugram have received bomb threats. Emails have warned of bombs being planted in school buildings. Bomb disposal teams and dog squads have launched a search operation. Several schools are being searched. Meanwhile, the school administration has sent the children back home

Police officials say that threatening emails were sent simultaneously to about a dozen schools during the morning school opening hours. Police teams are conducting checks around the schools. School staff and children are being evacuated.

Police and the Bomb Disposal Unit have launched a search operation at DAV School in Sector 14, Gurugram. The school campus has been completely evacuated. Police are also checking classrooms with the help of a dog squad.

Khalistan National Army claimed responsibility

The Khalistan National Army has threatened to bomb schools. The email reads, “Save your children.” It also claims to detonate bombs in schools at 1:11 a.m. and in trains at 3:11 p.m.
