The weather has changed in many states across the country. In Madhya Pradesh, over 20 districts, including Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, and Ujjain, have experienced thunderstorms and showers over the past 12 hours, increasing the chill.
An orange alert has been issued for heavy thunderstorms and rain in 11 districts of Rajasthan. A day earlier, intermittent rain fell throughout the day in more than 11 districts. The trauma center at SMS Hospital in the capital Jaipur was flooded, delaying several surgeries. Hail also fell in four districts.
Several areas in Haryana, including Hisar, have been warned of winds of up to 40–60 kmph and hailstorms. Bhiwani and Rewari in the state experienced light drizzle and hailstorms on Wednesday afternoon.
Meanwhile, in Uttarakhand, three districts, including Bageshwar and Rudraprayag, experienced snowfall. Additionally, seven districts received rain. Kedarnath in Rudraprayag received six inches of snow.
