Haryana: Accident on National Highway in Charkhi Dadri as uncontrolled car hits divider; one died

A Hyundai Santro car went out of control and collided with a divider on National Highway 152D near Chidiya village in Charkhi Dadri district on Friday morning.

One young man died in the accident, and four others were injured. The deceased, 21-year-old Kushal Goyal, was a resident of Kakrala village in Patiala district, Punjab. Police have initiated an investigation.

According to reports, a team of photographers from Patiala district, Punjab, was traveling to Mundru village near Reengus in Sikar district, Rajasthan, to cover a three-day religious event (kirtan).

The five friends, all part of the team, had left Patiala in the Santro car around 2 AM. On Friday morning, when they reached near Chidiya village on National Highway 152D, an animal suddenly appeared in front of the car, causing the driver to lose control, and the car collided with the divider. Kushal Goyal died in the accident, while Bharat Bhushan, Shekhar, Tarsem, and Karnveer sustained minor injuries.

Upon receiving information about the incident, police from the Chidiya police post arrived at the scene and began their investigation. The deceased’s body has been sent to the civil hospital in Dadri for post-mortem examination. Investigating officer ASI Kaptan Singh stated that the statements of the injured are being recorded.
