Haryana: 5 Times Number of additional candidates given chance in Police Constable Recruitment

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has released a list of five times the number of vacancies in additional candidates for the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) for the recruitment of Male Constables (General Duty) and Male Constables (Government Railway Police) within the Police Department. The Commission’s Chairman, Himmat Singh, shared this information via a post on his Facebook page.

The Commission stated that, following the list of 15 times the number of candidates released on April 17, 2026, and taking into account the significant number of absentees during the PMT, as well as other administrative reasons, a decision has now been taken to summon an additional five times the number of candidates relative to the total number of vacancies.

This decision applies to the posts falling under Category No. 01 (Male Constable GD) and Category No. 03 (Male Constable GRP) pursuant to Advertisement No. 01/2026. According to the Commission, the number of candidates may be further increased in the future should the need arise. The registration numbers of the selected candidates have been listed in the order of their CET registration numbers.
