September 6, 2025

Haryana CM Nayab Saini will visit the waterlogging-affected areas in Kurukshetra district this afternoon. This is his first visit after the recent rains and the overflowing of rivers. The CM will first reach Shahabad, where the situation has worsened due to the overflow of the Markanda River.

People in the villages situated on the riverbank are facing huge difficulties. The CM will meet the affected families here and listen to their problems and will also review the relief work. After Shahabad, Nayab Saini will take stock of the affected villages of Jhaansa and Pehowa.

Will assess the work

Many villages along the Punjab border of Pehowa are flooded. Here, too, the crops have been badly affected. The CM will go to the spot and not only talk to the people but will also assess the functioning of the administration. He will take a report on the pace of rescue and relief operations, food and water arrangements, and medical facilities.

Will also go to Ladwa

The CM will also check the condition of the rivers, the strength of the embankments, and the repair work, so that such a situation can be dealt with in the future. At the end of the tour, the CM will also visit his assembly seat in Ladwa. The administration is on alert regarding this tour, and all departments have been instructed to be present on the spot.
