Panchkula: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini attended the state-level Teachers’ Day function in Panchkula on Saturday, where outstanding teachers from across the state are being honoured for their dedicated service and contribution to education.
The function is being organised at the PWD Auditorium in Panchkula on Teachers’ Day. Haryana Governor Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh is attending the event as the chief guest, while Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini is presiding over the programme.

79 Teachers To Be Honoured
A total of 79 teachers from across Haryana have been selected for the state-level Teachers’ Awards. The teachers are being recognised for their distinguished service, dedication and contribution towards improving the quality of education in the state.
The awards also acknowledge educators who have demonstrated excellence while continuing their work under challenging circumstances.
Focus on Teachers’ Contribution to Education
The Teachers’ Day function is aimed at recognising the important role played by educators in shaping students and strengthening the education system.
The state-level ceremony brings together teachers and officials to celebrate their contribution and encourage excellence in teaching across Haryana.
The event is being held on September 5, which is observed as Teachers’ Day in India in memory of former President and renowned educationist Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
