Haryana CM Saini Scores 70% Strike Rate in West Bengal Campaign, BJP Wins 4 of 6 Seats He Covered

Chandigarh: Haryana CM Nayab Saini played a significant role in the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) victory in West Bengal. During the election campaign, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini shouldered the responsibility for the campaigning process across six assembly constituencies in Bengal. He conducted a roadshow in the Moyna assembly constituency and oversaw the nomination filing procedures for candidates in Shrirampur, Champdani, Chanditala, Jangipara, and Uttarpara. Out of these six seats, party candidates secured victory in four assembly constituencies.

The success rate of approximately 70 percent achieved across these six assembly constituencies bears the distinct imprint of the Chief Minister and the “Haryana Model.” Before this, CM Saini had also campaigned in elections held in Haryana, Maharashtra, Delhi, and Bihar.

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini actively participated in the “Parivartan Yatra” (Journey of Change) in West Bengal as part of the party’s election campaign. He spoke at public gatherings in favor of the party candidate in the Medinipur district’s Moyna assembly constituency. He then traveled to Shrirampur, which is located on the banks of the Hooghly River, and took part in the nomination filing ceremonies of Dilip Singh (Champdani), Debasis Mukherjee (Chanditala), Prasenjit Bag (Jangipara), Dipanjan Chakraborty (Uttarpara), and Bhaskar Bhattacharya (Shrirampur). He gave his blessings for victory (*Vijay Bhava*).

A party spokesperson said that the Election Commission’s results, which showed how well BJP candidates did in these assembly constituencies, showed beyond a doubt that Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini’s campaign efforts were very successful for the party. It wouldn’t be too much to say that Saini is a “Philosopher’s Stone” (‘Paras Patthar’), a person who makes sure that everything he does is successful.

The party leadership has said that they want to give him a big job in the upcoming Punjab Assembly elections because they are confident in him. Saini has remained consistently active in Punjab and has been touring the state for the past several days. Moreover, people from Punjab have been continuously visiting the Chief Minister’s residence to meet with Chief Minister Nayab Saini, signaling a shift in the state.
