Fatehabad: Missing man’s body found after two days, death under suspicious circumstances

A sensation swept through the Raghunath Dharamshala in Fatehabad city on Sunday evening when the body of Harish, alias ‘Kala Gandhi who works as a supervisor, was recovered. The deceased had reportedly been missing for the past two days. Upon receiving the information, police personnel from the Bus Stand Outpost rushed to the scene and initiated an investigation into the matter.

Man missing for two days

According to reports, the supervisor working at the Dharamshala had not been seen for the preceding two days. Employees and locals in the vicinity searched for him multiple times, but no trace of him could be found.

On Sunday evening, acting on suspicion, the police broke the lock on the main gate to gain entry; inside, they discovered the supervisor’s body lying on the premises. Based on the condition of the body, it is suspected that his death occurred a day earlier.

The forensic team carried out an investigation 

Upon receiving news of the incident, a ‘Scene of Crime’ team also arrived at the location. Dr. Joginder, a member of the team, inspected the site and collected forensic evidence.

The police have taken custody of the body and sent it to the Civil Hospital, where a post-mortem examination will be conducted. Satish, the In-charge of the Bus Stand Outpost, stated that the actual cause of death would only be revealed once the post-mortem report is received. Currently, every aspect of the case is being thoroughly investigated.

Atmosphere of Panic in area 

The incident has created an atmosphere of panic in the area. Meanwhile, individuals associated with the Dharamshala remain deeply shocked by the occurrence. The police have stated that footage from the Dharamshala’s CCTV cameras is also being scrutinized to uncover the truth behind the incident.
